You should find a local credit counseling service. You are indeed guaranteed to be high risk. And, if you think the interest rate is “not a problem”, you really need credit counseling. A loan to pay off loans is not the solution. Consider the following web site, and you can email a question to Mary Hunt and she will address you problem.

Beware of all the offers you’re going to attract. There are so many scams. Stay away from the up front fees (sometimes called a bond). They take your money and gee, you don’t qualify. The other offers are going to be just as bad as the payday loan.

Come up with money some other way — garage sale, collect alum cans, get a part time job (pizaa delivery has flexible hours and always looking for drivers), pawn something.
