You can cancel the cheques at the bank but they would be after you for sure. They probably know where you work etc. You have to move and change your job to get away. They will track you down. They are relentless and horrible. See if you can get some debt counselling and get them off your back. They are the worst.

You shouldn’t have taken any loans for anyone. Obviously if they are asking you for money, it’s because they didn’t have any. Did you really think they were going to pay you back? Try your best to pay them off as quickly as possible or take them to court. I know they are family but after you go to court they will never ask you for money again. Good luck to you.

They can charge you late fees and inflate you interest due to delinquent payments as well as report non-payment on your credit report. Which isn’t a big deal unless you plan on buying a car or house any time soon. Once you miss a payment they have the right, its usually in the contract you sign, to accelerate you payments charging more interest and tacking on additional fees. This is how they make money and this is why you should never take out a payday loan. They are the worst kind of scam. Pay them off as fast as possible not matter what else you have to postpone to get it done. If you have a car payment or another loan you can differ for one month i recommend it.
